Property Partner Revenue Share
In a typical installation, Nex will design, build, own and operate the
Internet access network at its own cost, and will provide the property
owner a share of revenues generated from customer use of the
Internet access network.

Automated User Authentication and Control
Each user access (e.g. a hotel guest) will be subject to full user ID
and password protection, and fully encrypted security, based upon a
prepaid card system. The prepaid cards are issued by the hotel
property upon the receipt of a direct payment or processing of the
appropriate room charge. User authentication and Internet access
is handled by Nex’s specialized computer servers and software,
based upon the prepaid card, which will permit unlimited access for
24 continuous hours after activation or for such other period as the
guest may have purchased. Each prepaid card has printed upon it a
unique user ID and password, with the password protected by a
removable security covering which is to be rubbed off by the user.
The authentication server will require a valid ID and password to be
entered before permitting Internet access and will initiate and track
the “usage clock”.

Flexible Systems Design, Expansion and Information Security
Owing to the underlying technology and overall system architecture,
Nex’s Internet access networks are highly scalable and can easily
grow to service new business demands. User and network security
are provided by dedicated firewall hardware and software and,
where appropriate, rely upon industry standard 128-bit encryption
technology.

Speedy Access and Reliability
Speedy access is achieved through employing state-of-the-art
Internet access hardware and software, current design and
development tools, and providing the telecommunications
bandwidth capacity to handle planned user loads.  Reliability is
achieved primarily through the use of state-of-the-art servers and
related telecommunications equipment owned by the Company,
which are interconnected through high-speed telecommunications
lines.

User Privacy
The privacy of users’ personal information will be respected and
nothing related to a specific user will be made available to any third
parties, unless that user personally authorizes it.

Secure, Customized System Functions
Each of Nex’s specialized Internet access network installations
feature high-speed, broadband Internet access utilizing a
customized architecture that is managed through the Company’s
network operations centre (“NOC”) and corporate office. In the
instance of a hotel-based user, their initial network log-on would be
authenticated at the NOC and then directed through to the Internet
“home page” of the specific hotel property. Critical NOC equipment
is physically situated in secure, environmentally controlled,
dedicated premises. Nex’s specialized Internet access networks
are connected to the Internet, the NOC and corporate offices,
through high-speed telecommunications lines.
